Recertified SPHR 2022-2025

JOSHUA A. SKY HAS RECERTIFIED AS A

SENIOR PROFESSIONAL IN HUMAN RESOURCES

Estero, Florida, June 6, 2022 – Joshua A. Sky, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, President of The Sky’s The Limit Consulting, Inc. has recertified for a fourth time as a Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®).

This certification, awarded by the HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®), signified that Mr. Sky possessed the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination demonstrating a mastery of the field. Mr. Sky was initially certified in 2010 and has maintained his credential through recertification each cycle for the last 12 years, most recently this summer. "Certification as a human resource professional clearly demonstrates a commitment to personal excellence and to the human resource profession," said Mary Power, CAE, and previous Executive Director of the HR Certification Institute.

To become SPHR-certified, an applicant must pass a comprehensive examination and demonstrate a strong background of professional human resource experience that reflect five functional areas: Leadership & Strategy, Talent Planning & Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations & Engagement. Once certification is initially obtained, there is a three-year recertification period in which a professional continues to learn, grow and increase current knowledge. Mr. Sky’s recertification was obtained by attending programs in continuing education, developing his own courses, providing instruction, actively participating in two local SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Chapters; HR Collier in Naples and SHRM-SWFL in Fort Myers, as well as maintaining his National SHRM membership.
