Just Smile

In customer service training, they often share that a smile can be “heard” over the telephone. And in today’s world, this transcends to our electronic communication as well – email, texting, etc. So why exactly is this true?

Physically, when we smile, we are sending a message to our own bodies as well as to others who are near us. This energy can sustain you and can transfer to someone else. It’s a very simple strategy that when you are conscious of it, you can be sure to use it right after or possibly right before an anticipated difficult situation.

OK, so how about it? Are you wearing your smile right now or are you putting it on? I can “see” you!
