Coaches Are Not Just For Athletes

· Goal Setting

Can you believe that half of this year is already over? When 2017 began, we were all facing a climate of uncertainty. Terrorism threats were more prevalent in our minds, and we were preparing for an unusual president.

Where are you with your goals for this year? That’s what large and small organizations are scratching their heads about now. The goals set for 2017 need be achieved with what’s left of this year knowing that 2018 is following closely behind.

Do you need help getting the results you want? Are you striving to meet or exceed a particular sales goal? Is your personal life suffering due to work obligations? Did you resolve to exercise on a regular basis but find you’re not sticking with it? Are you being asked to do more with less? If help was right at your finger tips, would you take it?

Last August we experienced the Summer Olympics in Rio. What if you were an athlete preparing for an event? Would an athletic coach help you? S/he is someone who knows the sport. Someone who knows your strengths and weaknesses. Someone who will push you to swim faster and applaud you when you do. Someone who is there with clasped fingers to give you the boost you need to get over the wall and pick you up if you fall on your first attempt. Working with a coach on your professional or personal goals will do the same for you.
