Be Kind to Someone...Else

In the past I’ve asked you to be kind to your loved ones, your coworkers, your neighbors, and strangers on the street. Today is different – I want you to be kind to someone who has generously opened their hearts to others: You!

This week, your task is to relax and pamper yourself in whatever way makes you feel really, really good. Maybe it’s a long bubble bath with soft music and candles. Or a good book next to a roaring fire. Or going to a special place you don’t get to very often. Or doing something a little extravagant. Or a glass of wine and your favorite romantic movie.

Whatever you do, don’t forget to remind yourself that whatever ups and downs you may be experiencing in life, however many challenges and troubles you have on your mind, there is a great person inside who deserves to be treated with love, affection, and kindness.

And that person is…YOU!
