Major Energy - Minor Problems

· Goal Setting,Time Management,Work Styles,Obstacles,Self-Improvement

Think of what you are doing today. Are you expending too much energy on small things? Stop and take a pulse on the situation. Ask yourself how important the issue you are currently working on will be a year from now. If it is part of a bigger picture and you can see the connection to something more, then it is energy well spent.

On the other hand, if its significance is truly minimal, is it the best use of your time and energy? Is it something you can delegate, outsource or eliminate? Instead use your energy on outcomes that will be more profitable; keeping in mind that not all profit is always financial. Be sure not to spend major energy on minor problems.

“Deciding what not to do is as important

as deciding what to do.” – Jessica Jackley
